Student Government Vehicle Reservations

Student Government is currently sponsoring four Chevrolet Traverse vehicles!

It is required that anyone wishing to drive these vehicles has a certification completed through the university. To get your certification, please stop by the information desk in the Henry Student Center and pick up a packet. Part of the certification process is taking an online driver safety training course as well as a background check of your driving history. Everyone must be recertified annually.

How to Request a Vehicle

  • Reservation requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Same day reservations will not be approved.
  • Locations beyond 120 miles from campus will not be approved.
  1. Check the calendar below for availability on the specific date(s) you would like to reserve.
  2. Create a Google Calendar appointment with sgvans@datsumoki.net and your club or organization advisor as guests. The following information must be included in the description of the appointment:
    • Event title & time
    • Location you are traveling to and approximate mileage from campus
    • Name and email / phone # of contact person for appointment
    • Name and email of club or organization advisor
    • Number of vehicles needed
    • Certified driver(s)
  3. Once you have submitted your request, do not assume you have the vehicle! You will receive a Google Calendar "acceptance" email. Once you have received the acceptance email, your reservation is confirmed.
